Zheng Guogu graduated from the Guangzhou Academy of Art in 1992. He cofounded the performance art collective Big Tail Elephant Group in 1991. He later formed Yangjiang Group in 2002, an artist collective known for their distinctive approach to interpreting emerging media culture such as Hong Kong cinema and internet games. Zheng’s diverse works include photography, painting, sculpture, embroidery, and environmental art.
